Diagnosed with Breast Cancer at 26 Years Old

The good, the bad, the ugly…
I talk about what it is really like to battle breast cancer in your 20’s

About Me, Jesse

One step at a time. One day at a time.
Now repeat that in your head.

  • My Diagnosis Story

Everyone’s story is a little different. Not one story will be exactly the same. But I believe we can learn from one another’s stories, which is why I want to share mine with you all.

  • My Treatment Plan

My care team met and reviewed my case and came up with a treatment plan specific to me. The treatment plan I followed for chemo was TCHP. Taxotere, Carboplatin, Herceptin, and Projeta. Here is some great documentation that explains all the details of my TCHP chemo regimen.

  • My Chemo Experience

Just like everyone’s diagnosis story is different, everyone’s chemo experience is different. For example, some may never get nauseous, while others vomit daily. Here was my experience with chemotherapy and my advice for those who are about or are currently going through their own battle with chemo.

  • Things I Wish I Knew

There are a lot of things I wish I knew before embarking on my breast cancer journey. I hope my learnings will help someone else going through a similar journey in someway.

  • Fierecely, Jesse Blog

A place for me to share my journey and other informational posts. Some of the posts are updates I provided on my CaringBridge while going through active treatment. I will continue to post new blog entries with updates on my journey a few times a month.

  • Photo Album

Just a photo diary of my journey. I did my best to document the good, the bad, and the ugly.

  • Resources

Along the way I have found a handle of resources that have helped me out tremendously. I hope you all find these resources as helpful as I did.
