I know it’s been a minute since I have given a decent update on how my treatment is going so I thought I’d write up a quick overview of where we are at with treatment and what my next steps look like.

Done with Chemo.... What's Next?
Sorry it's been so long since I have updated everyone. Some bigs things have happened since my last update. For starters, I finished chemo on July 2nd! I know that was so long ago at this point, but it honestly doesn't even seem real some days.
One More Chemo Treatment Remaining
One more chemo to go.... it almost doesn't even sound real to say that. These chemo treatments have been a rollercoaster and at times it felt as though the end was out of reach, but we are quickly coming up on my last treatment. July 2nd is when I will receive my final chemo treatment.
The Up's and Down's of Post Chemo
We are 10 days post chemo treatment #4 and this go round has been much more difficult for me than previously.
Over Half Way Through Chemo!!
It's time for a way overdue update for everyone! For starters, thank you to those who have reached out to myself or my family with their thoughts, prayers, kind words, etc. - it really does mean the world to us and it helps keep me going everyday!
Easter Weekend Update + Chemo Round #2
For starters, I had a wonderful weekend with Cameron and our friends. We took the dogs to the dog park and just got out and about a little bit this weekend since I had the energy to actually do so.
Two Week Post Chemo Update
It's been just about 2 weeks since my first chemo infusion and I've got to say that each day is almost completely different as the day before in terms of what symptoms I am experiencing.
Chemo Round #1 Update
Chemo seems like such a double edged sword - don't you think? On one hand, it is killing the cancer in my body which is AMAZING, but on the other hand it is making me sicker than a dog. Actually, to be fair, I think I am handling the chemo side effects fairly well. Or as well as I can be.
Great News+Port Insertion Surgery
HUGE NEWS: First of all, the surgery to get my port put in went wonderful! The surgical team I had was amazing and made me feel so comfortable.
Update+Preparing to Lose my Hair
As it is really starting to set in with me that I will be starting chemo this week, it is also setting in that my time with my long natural hair is likely going to come to an end very soon. The reality is that in just a few short weeks I am going to begin losing my hair.
My Breast Cancer Diagnosis
March 5th, 2021 - This day will forever mark the day that my life changed forever. This is the day that I got the confirmation I have Invasive Ductal Carcinoma... aka breast cancer.
