Easter Weekend Update + Chemo Round #2
I wanted to post a weekend/early week update for everyone.
For starters, I had a wonderful weekend with Cameron and our friends. We took the dogs to the dog park and just got out and about a little bit this weekend since I had the energy to actually do so. We weren’t able to spend the Easter holiday with either of our families due to me now being immunocompromised and not being vaccinated yet, but we made the most of it.
This week I’ve noticed some interesting symptoms that I’m not sure are due to chemo or seasonal allergies. I’m dealing with a constant runny nose, fatigue all day/everyday, headaches, body aches and so on. None of these things are unbearable by any means so I am just doing the best I can each week.
I have my second round of chemo on Friday so I am just trying to prepare my body as best I can with sleep, hydration, and some physical activity each day. After round #2 on Friday, we will be 1/3 of the way through chemo so that is what I keep focusing on!
Again (and I will keep saying this until the end of time) but thank you SO much for the continued love and support. It truly keeps me motivated each day and helps keep me maintain a positive and optimistic outlook on this otherwise crappy situation. I love you all so much.
