Great News+Port Insertion Surgery

HUGE NEWS: First of all, the surgery to get my port put in went wonderful! The surgical team I had was amazing and made me feel so comfortable.

After surgery my surgeon came by and told me that she had some great news for me - the PET scan I had done this morning came back and the scan was negative for cancerous cells anywhere else in my body. That means it doesn’t look like the cancer has spread!!! This is probably the first piece of actual GOOD NEWS that we’ve received since my diagnosis.

Thank you all so SO much for the love and support. Next up is my first round of chemo bright and early tomorrow. I’m ready to start kicking this cancer’s ass! 💪🏼💕
